OUR OUTWARD SPIRITUAL JOURNEY ——————————————— FRIENDSHIP GROUPS
Meet monthly to socialize with 8-10 others according to self-determined agenda. Most groups eat together via potlucks in members’ homes or restaurants. Some take social trips. Groups change twice per year in order to socialize broadly. Visitors and new members, singles and couples are cordially welcomed. Call Laurie Betts at 821-1904.
MISSION, SERVICE AND EVANGELISM PROJECTS |

Vary throughout the year and include Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, sandwiches for firefighters, monthly Food and/or diaper collections, back-to-school clothing and supplies, etc. See bulletin or website for details.
Sweet Recycling
Join us in Albertson’s parking lot the last Wednesday of each month at 3:15 pm and bring your recyclables or help with recyclables left at church. Afterwards join us at Baskin Robbins store for dutch-treat ice cream social. Proceeds benefit youth group.
First Fridays at Church
In coordination with downtown Tehachapi merchants, our church offers pecial events the first Friday of every month from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Coffee and edibles, music and art and socialization provide a respite For the community, outdoors weather permitting. Program varies monthly.
ANNUAL EVENTS
Rummage and Plant Sales during Mountain Festival in August; Heifer Project’s Read to Feed program during summer; Blessing of the Animals in October; and other events as passions define.
