WORSHIP

10:30 a.m. Sundays

 

Progressive theology preached in a traditional, bulletin-

based worship experience.  Includes a Childrens Message

weekly, hymn singing and a variety of styles of special music.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

 

Pre-Schoolers and Elementary Children

Meet in Sunday School Room in Christian Education Building after Children’s Message,

approximately 10:45 am.  Focus upon themes from the Bible and Christian living

such as God’s Wonderful World, The Bible Through the Arts, etc. Crafts,

music and mission activities such as Heifer Project included.

 

Teens – Grades 7-12

Meet in Youth Room in basement of Sanctuary for topics of current interest and

application of faith to teen decisions.  Recycling and other mission

and environmental projects are the emphasis.

 

ADULT BIBLE STUDIES

 

Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m., Christian Education Building

From DVD series such as “Living the Questions,” to contemporary, Biblical-based

curriculum such as “Just Eating,” All adults are welcome to join us for progressive

interpretations and discussions of the Bible and its application to daily life.

 

ADULT BOOK AND TOPICAL STUDIES

 

Seasonal studies of topics designed to deepen Christian discipleship are offered according to evening schedules of attendees.  Check the weekly worship bulletin for current topics.

Past topics have included Learning to Pray, Faithfully Facing Death, Immigration

Issues, and discussions of popular books such as The Shack and Love Wins.

 

SPIRITWIND

 

5:00 p.m. Sundays, September through June

A progressive spirituality group offering discussions that foster spiritual

community across diverse spiritual communities.
