Who We Are
Tehachapi Community Congregational is a warm, diverse and welcoming church. Our worshipping congregation was established in 1921 and the main church building – our sanctuary – was built in 1928. Thus ours is the oldest church building in Tehachapi; yet it embraces the most progressive theology. With only modest changes since the 1966 painting by Helen McAllister (pictured above with permission), our sanctuary has a seating capacity of 100, while worship attendance averages 70. No matter who you are or where you are on your life’s spiritual journey, we invite you to share our homey worship atmosphere and to receive our hearty welcome.
